[Fine Art, Painting: Childhood] Experimenting with Childhood, 10/16

To begin my Mark Rothko response I experimented with a technique similar to his block paint style. I squirted different toned paint in random lines and used a piece of card/squeegee to drag the colour along the paper, resulting in these beautifully strange, textured pieces. I experimented with tone using more vivid colours than Rothko as children are typically drawn to the brighter shades, the paint that children usually paint with also is very radiant.
