[Lens Based: Beauty in Media] How Does My Face Look? I Created My Features For You, 9/16

Stage 2 of my Bruno Metra and Laurence Jeanson response. Following on from the “Before and After of ‘Ideal Beauty’ Transformation” I cut out the photoshopped features and taped them on my model’s faces, mixing pieces and experimenting with angles and neutral expressions. By covering up the original face with ‘better’ features the model’s feel like as they don’t match the unattainable media beauty standard, they’re not attractive, much like how the public feel daily when seeing these photoshopped, unrealistic magazine models.
